Forward 2045 is the official comprehensive plan for Winston-Salem and Forsyth County having been adopted by both elected bodies.
New area plan process to begin at the end of January. Kickoff meeting for the Northeast Suburban Area Plan is January 28, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Forsyth Technical Community College Transportation Technology Center, 4255 Patterson Avenue, 27105.
